In this episode we venture all the way back to the grimey streets of The Five Points 19th Century New York. Martin Scorsese's 2002 epic Gangs of New York is a one - of - a - kind film. Which brought a brutal freshness to the Hollywood epic and shows off Scorsese's skills as a master of storytelling combining scale, precision, and spectacle. Highlighted by the scene stealing electrifying performance by Daniel Day-Lewis as Bill the Butcher. Gangs of New York is a must see film that, in decades to come, will only grow in stature and importance!
At our challenge, by the ancient laws of combat, we have met at this chosen ground, to settle for good and all who holds sway over the Five Points....of course it's Turk & Raz. Prepare to receive the true Lord. Thanks for listening!

Friday Aug 26, 2022
For those who love their cheesy 80's love stories. Then we got a fun Retro Roundtable for you. "Can't Buy Me Love" is a 1987 teen comedy which follows an outcast nerd who secretly pays the most popular girl in school one thousand dollars to pretend to be his girlfriend for a month. If only things could be that simple.
This movie always stood out to us because it is not only entertaining in the fact that it's funny, but it also has a very useful message. For those who always dreamed to be popular or at the very least be reasonably liked --- at the end of the day the best thing to do is to be nothing but yourself. So, if you're prone to farting episodes just like Big John - don't hold back and let it all out!
We guarantee after listening to this episode you'll totally go geek to chic. Thanks for listening.

What happens when you cast a body builder, a dancer, and a surfer in a sword-and-sandal fantasy film. You get the 1982 epic - Conan the Barbarian. Arnold stars as Conan, who was sold into slavery as child after the genocide of his family and people, sets off on an quest to find the evil sorcerer Thulsa Doom who is responsible.
The film is an amazing adventure filled with swords, bizarre creatures, and tons of blood and gore. But, most importantly it is filled with beautiful sexy women and super oiled up muscle flexing dudes kicking ass and taking names!
Hollywood take note: This is how you are supposed to portray strong female leads! Thanks for listening.
